Kesa chōdai no ge

For bodhisattvas and monks only.
Recite this three times while placing the folded kesa or rakusu on your head, with the calligraphy facing outward, hands in gassho.

Daï saï geda puku
Muso fukuden ie
Hibu nyoraï kyo
Kodo sho shu jo

Universal, boundless, and blissful garment
Now I have the Buddha’s satori
To help all beings
Oh, wondrous emancipation!
